Breakfast was a disappointment. Milk machine was out of order so a gallon jug was in a cooler. Made it a bit difficult to use. The orange juice tasted watered down. But otherwise passable.

There are some very rude people in cody Wy. They do not like tourists. They will cuss at you on the road , they will ride your bumper, yell obscenities to you. It's sad , with out tourists, cody wouldn't be what it is today. I used to love cody , until the residents started being more than rude to people from other states. If we stopped coming to cody, wondering how much of a ghost town would cody turn into.

I am from Wyo. and am in Cody frequently, so I can't really comment on length stayed. We are usually in Cody for things that "normal" travelers are not. We are here for sports, to see friends, and other such things.

I loved the location, the motel itself and the rooms were great. Couldn't ask for anything better and the value for the cost was fantastic. I had mixed reactions for the staff. The gentleman who checked us in for the evening was great. Seemed to go out of his way explaining things and getting us into the room we booked online. However, the lady working the desk in the morning double charged my credit card by mistake (according to her) but didn't attempt to fix the charge even though she knew she had made the mistake. The manager had to be called to make adjustments and I'm still waiting for the adjustment to be cleared after 4 days.

We were there toward the end of the season.
We were there toward the end of the season. Our purpose was to go to the Whitney Western Art Museum in the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. It actually had 5 museums and we went to four of them. My husband loved the Buffalo Bill museum. I did love the Whitney, but also the Natural History Museum. In addition, Cody is only 58 miles from the East entrance to Yellowstone, and the drive there is spectacular. We had not planned on going, but we did end up spending a full day there. Cody is definitely worth a stop.

Prices very high.
Prices very high. Got the impression people there liked you only for what you would spend. Very crowded. No place to eat because of the glut of people there. The Buffalo Bill Museum of the West was good. Enjoyable time spent there. The Chief Joseph Highway was awesome. Otherwise, the rest of this highly priced resort town is not for me. I will not return.

Excellent gateway location for the East Entrance Road in Yellowstone National Park. Also, a good starting point for Chief Joseph Scenic By-way and Beartooth Scenic Highway. There are so many things to see and do around Cody that one trip is certainly not enough!
Nice hotel, free, buffet style breakfast and coffee available 24/7. Gym and pool facilities also accessible at all hours. The cookies and snacks in the morning and afternoon also a nice touch. It was a nice way to end our two week vacation.
The center of town was 2 miles away but the Cody Rodeo was walking distance. The shootout in front of the Irma was really lame. Don’t pay the $3 for the seats- not worth it. Also the buffet at the Irma was not very good.
We appeared to get upgraded with our Genius status. The unit had 2 rooms plus large bath - microwave and fridge. Very comfortable and clean - super roomy
Hotel is on outskirts of town but we thought it was good for road access... the rodeo was in town and as we drove through we could smell the animal aroma thus being slightly away is best
Wish we stayed more than one night to learn more about Cody - the decor was tastefully historically about Cody too
The quality of the meals is very good! The convenience of staying at a beautiful, historic hotel with a beautiful spacious dining room, friendly efficient staff and a nice pub area is unparalleled in the area. Like the option of not having to leave the hotel! Like the location as well. This is our new February tradition no matter what the weather!
It was a really great hotel. It was like a small museum. The kids enjoyed observing the taxidermy.
It is the best hotel. We highly recommend this hotel.
The heated pool is available for children until 10pm and adults until midnight. They also had equipment in place to enter the pool for caregivers. Excellent.
Everyone was friendly and helpful roo
S were clean. The problem I did have was when we got moved to the older part of the Hotel the toilets didn’t flush good and our bed was right up against our neighbors and we could hear them flush and it was LOUD woke me up several times during the night!
Brenda was a great host. Communicated with us especially regarding the road closures nearby. Motel was old style but had a very comfortable bed, lounge chairs and coffee machine. Location was very handy to downtown Cody. All units ground floor.
Beautiful property with a great veiw and close to down town. Small log cabins are cozy, well equipped, and very very clean! Staff is friendly and helpful. Simple hotel with a lot of charm! Competitive pricing for the area! Will stay again!
The foyer was the most outrageous decor by a country mile: Fabulous/Mad/Funny/Strange. To walk into a hotel just outside Yellowstone National Park and in the middle of cowboy country and you find yourself in the middle of Africa 😳
The wi-fi was the best I've had at a hotel for quite a while. Room was good size, clean, staff was ready and willing to get extra coffee and shampoo for us. Overall, a great stay and highly recommend when visiting Cody.
Hotel outside of town near 3 lakes, birdwatching, nice easy breakfast with great coffee. 1/2 hr from elk, buffalo, eagles, pronghorn and gorgeous Wyoming scenery and much more. Love Cody
The layout of the hotel was excellent and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was a short walk to the historical down town areas.
Lovely staff who helped us with changing rooms to something that suited us better
nice coffee on the house
Clean room, good wi fi, good facilities
well located within Cody
A lovely and welcoming hotel. The lobby was beautiful, staff friendly and the breakfast a level above the usual bland hotel offerings. Guest laundry was clean!
